That's very interesting. If you were missing two caps would it beep twice? If you were missing four caps would be beep four times? Coincidence?

Interested to hear back from you if you do get the beeps I was getting. I dont know how long I was driving without the caps before I started to get the beep sound. Your attempt can probably confirm if the missing caps triggered the beeps. I am not 100% sure, but since the caps have been replaced no more beeps.
