To turn DSC off completely, you don't press the button twice, you hold it in for a period of time until the DSC off warning comes on...

Are there any tricks to prevent my passengers from unlocking their locked doors by pulling the door handle twice?
Just kinda irks me when I am not yet done parking and unlocking all doors, there'll be some passengers who seem to be in a rush to get out of the car...

Anyone know if the DVD drive is capable of playing DVD Audio discs?
I assume we all know it won't play DVD-video? (I haven't yet tried that either, but the menus imply that it is audio-only)

One minor note about this -- it doesn't increase or decrease in 5mph increments, it rounds it to the next 5mph increment. In other words, if you're cruise is already set to 58mph, pressing the lever forward two clicks will take you up 2mph to 60, not to 63mph (which would be adding 5mph to 58...)
I know, I know, I'm anal! You guys are just going to have to deal with it!!

I'm finding on mine a mixture of both - going up its to the nearest 5mph like 72 -> 75 but going down is a 5mph substraction 72 ->68
just to confuse everyone ;-)

Please try to keep this thread for tested & proven tips, rather than discussions, so it doesn't get polluted It will only be a useful resource if you don't have to scroll through hundreds of pages to find out whether these things do actually work or not. Rather than ask questions, go and test it, then post the results - only if they are positive. We don't want this turning in to a "does this work or not ... no it doesn't" thread !!

Also, have another tip...
The passenger door mirror automatically dips down when you put the car in reverse, if you don't want the mirror to do this, put the switch used for selecting which mirror to adjust the position of to the passenger mirror, then it doesn't move. Leave it set for the drivers mirror and the passenger one will dip!
I thought mine had stopped working until I had a play about with it and discovered this.

Me too. It always goes down to the nearest 5mph -- up or down. It worked this way on my 2004 car and it works that way on my 2008 car. NMayling, are you sure your car works the way you described?

Not sure if this has been mentioned but I found a cubby hole with and pull lock just under the steering wheel nearest the door where I can now store my wallet and phone
Seems I missed this whilst reading the manual when I first got the car
