What kinds of things are you looking for? Service, repair or modifications? In Sandy Springs there is Buckhead Motor Works, yes, BMW, lol. They are on Hildebrandt just off of Roswell Road. Harrison Motor Sports in Alphretta, I think. There's also Carma in Doraville for maintenance but I wouldn't go much beyond that with them. My experience is that they do good work but diagnosing is hit or miss. Buckhead Motor Works did the work for me when I had my M3. The Racer's Mart up in Suwanee if you want modifications but not sure what they could do for a 545. Look on bimmerforums.com and check in the regional section then Ga. for more ideas.

Not sure what an "indy shop" is.
But a fine independent Bimmer and Benz shop is at 4345 GA 400. "My Mercedes & Bimmer Place" 770.205.4011
Clean, new shop, sharp people and reasonable $$.
sixcard

Saw an ad for this in the latest Roundel:

It's a non-profit organization of independent shops. I founf Braxton Automotive when I did a serach for Atlanta. You may want to post in the dealer service sub-forum as well asking for feedback on Braxton.
Good Luck.

Since this thread got revived, Ill go ahead and share where I recently got a new clutch/spark plugs installed. Stricly German in Braselton, GA. They did a great job. Couldnt be happier. However, if anyone goes there, you cannot judge a book by its cover lol. It is essentially a german junkyard.
