I'm trying to program Aux into 2005 525i using the coding cable using this video: . I downloaded all the programs but the only problem is for NCS Expert when I enter E60, it says vin is faulty. I also dont have the expertmode and Revtor's NCS Expert Profile options. I've looked everywhere,and updated it twice but it still gives me the same error. Any idea how I can fix this problem, or find out where to get the most updated program including those two modes.

google will be your best friend. i made that video. if both block dots are shaded in inpa and vin faulty shows up, need to update daten files. no need to use revtors, use expertmode and look on google how to enable it to upload .man files.

 

Yeah, everythings updated. I used your method. Ediabas 6.4.7, v45.2 daten files and bmw standard tools 2.11. Everythings updated. The anwers im finding for vin is faulty error is that they are all using windows 7/10 and getting the error, but I'm using windows xp on my laptop and im still getting VIN is faulty. COAPI-2000: EDIABAS or SGBD error. IFH-0018: Initalizing failure of the interface handler.

Also, I have an 06 530xi. All Im really trying to do is code an aux for the bluetooth module I put in!

Would you be able to help me set my NCS Expert up? I have teamViewer, ncs expert. the correct cable, all the dates files, profiles, etc.
