Is that correct 545 about being able to retro fit for Sirius? Yes it is cheaper to just have Sirius installed post delivery at any retailer, but you get one of those mouse antennas on the roof. And I'm not sure I'd want my local dealer pulling the roofing materials out to get the antenna into the shark fin, where it is when you get the factory Sat prep.

neither would I, just seems like the work to hook up the Sirius antenna in the shark fin post factory would invlove a lot of interior work removing trim or roofing materials to gain access to the shark fin and run wires to the computer and iDrive.

It's sounding more and more like your Service Manager doesn't have a clue.
EVERYONE else I've talked to says without pre-wiring, your not getting integrated Sirius.
Keep in mind that the key word is integrated. You can add Sirius to ANY car if you're willing to add another antenna and not have the radio interface through the iDrive screen, etc.
