Wonder if someone could answer a quick question for me. I have an '07 530 xi with NAV. On my Infiniti I am able to preview the route that its NAV system intends to send me on. I can't seem to figure out how to do this on the 530, or find reference to it in the manual.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

By the way, I'm loving my new 530xi more each day!

First, start destination and then go to the bottom of the screen for the routing that NAV Lady selects. You can change the options and she will normally change the route.

I want to know this too. I have not been able to figure it out how to get a list of street names for the route I am heading.

While having the map showing on the main screen, pull the i-Drive knob to the left to go to icon menus, select the crosshair icon (rectangular with a cross line in the middle). From there you can move the map to any of the 8 available directions with your i-Drive knob. Follow the highlighted path.

Good luck

It's possible, it's in one of the view options on the Navigation menu. Once the destination has been selected one of the view options in the menu (may be near the map selection) will lis out the entire route on a turn by turn basis. Can't check the precise menu option (I think it's route list or something similar) right now but it's definitely there.

I know I am in the wrong place but can some one tell me if my 2004 545 can use the navigation firmware update v27.1? I don't see any post that involve my car. They all are for the x5 or older model cars.
