navigation perspective view

My Ride: 2005 530i silver-gray w/ premium, sport, active steering, xenon headlights...
current project: lcd screens in headrests, tv-tuner/dvd player for idrive...
is perspective view for the navigation a free upgrade???
does anyone have pics on how to select the perspective view???

My Ride: 2006 550i, Alpine White, Beige Ltr, Sport Pkg, Cold Weather Pkg, Premium Sound, Active Steering, Comfort Access, Steptronic, Nav, Satellite Radio, Split Fold Rear Seats, V1
Press the voice button on the steering wheel and say "Perspective".

My Ride: 2013 535i (White with Oyster Interior. Premium Package, Navigation, Technology Pacakge, Park Distance Control, and Rear View Camera)
Do you know how to select "Map facing north" or "Map direction of travel"? It's at the same place that you can select Perspective.
If you don't have Perspective. You need a CIP upgrade, it's free only if there is other problem that require a CIP upgrade. They won't upgrade the CIP for free by asking for Perspective.
