Navigation map: can we scroll instead of zoom?
Hi everyone!!
I hope everyone had a nice Happy Mother's Day with their moms and had a nice weekend!!
2 questions!!
1. I know that with the I-drive knob, we can turn to zoom in and out of the navigation map, but is there way to scroll along the map if our destination is off the screen?
2. Where can we find the TCU in our car? Besides the Bluetooth Passkey card we received indicating the TCU model number, can we also see it on the actual TCU too? if so, where can we find the actual location, and what do we have to do to access and take a look at our TCU?
Thanks again!!

I think that with CIP version 16.2, there are some additional scrolling functions but I can't say for sure that you can do what you want...
As far as the location of the TCU, I can help. The following link is to a short thread that describes the location. There is another link in that thread to some posts from Lomag that include pictures, etc.

Hi Sorry but there is no way to scroll with the map on E60.
. The TCU is located on the left side of your trunk under the cover. If your car is 2005 January or later production you don't need the pass key to synch your blue tooth phone. You set up the code by yourself. Let me know if you don't know how.

With software version 16.2 you can scroll around the navigation map using new symbols which are down the side of the map?

When I have a destination selected, while driving, I will select "New Destination" and select "Input Map". That's the only way I found to scroll the map as well as seeing your destination route. I will then use the voice command "MAP" to revert back to the regular map.
I use this to find an alternative route when I encounter a traffic jam.

Isn't this the "Atlas Mode"? I think you can scroll with that. It has arrows all over the edges of the map. When you select "Atlas Mode", the icons on the left (with 16.2) disappear and the arrows appear.
