I am new to this forum and have owned a 528i for about a year.
I was just wondering, should the Nav Disk be left in the DVD player all the time or taken out and stored when not in use.
Thanks,
Jim

I thought the disc always needs to be in for the nav to work?
Where the hell do you type in a UK postcode? its driving me nuts its only asking for road name, building number, city etc etc (tried on both 2009-2 disc and a 2010 disc (i think)

The nav doesn't support full postcode. You get the first 4 or 5 digits only (for example "NG15 1xx") so it's still pretty imperative to know the name of the street you want. Just go to the "city" section and type the letter at the beginning of the postcode and then scroll all the way right to get the numbers.
