I find an ISO torrent file and burn it, but do I need a dual layered DVD disc? or just a regular one?
its for a 2008 535i, so what navigation # or file should I search for?

I do believe the DVD is single layered - I'll check and repost when I get home assuming nobody beats me to it.
You will need the CCC version of the NAV disk, anything else will not work in your car.

There is a thread in here which has all of the info in it, but it is Single Layer disc. I burned mine recently and works like a charm.
