Hello, Can someone please tell me how to abort out of the navigation directions once I enter a destination? I can change destinations, however I can stop the lady from talking to me.

Post CIP 16.1 they have enhanced the NAV with icons to stop or start guidance and navigation info (voice commands) off or on. These are also voice commands.

Pre CIP 16 it is somewhat harder.

NAV Voice instructions can be easily toggled on or off if you program a steering wheel button. A press will initaiate a guidance prompt. A press and hold for 3 secs will mute or unmute the guidance prompt. An icon shows this if a map is displayed.

STOPPING GUIDANCE - this is done by going to the destination list. Scroll to the destination with the arrow next to it. (this is where the system is currently guiding you to). Press down and uncheck the start guidance field. The fastest way is using the voice command "destination list" then scroll and press twice.
