Navi Map update 2009-1
Not quite sure where this post belongs . . .(2nd) post,
Anyway I have a 2010 E60 528i.
I want to update the Nav. I have 2 USB ports , 1 glove bow, 1 console. I was told the update was via the USB from files downloaded .
I have gotten a price from a dealer for $400.00 to upgrade.
I paid some dude for a link in New Zealand for the files that I put on a flash --they would not load to the car----8.1G or so
Also , seen nav discs on the web for $187.50 to buy the discs. What is the cheapest route?
And does anyone have a set of files / / discs fro rent sale?

Only the dealer or an indy with the right equipment can update you NAV. If your looking for a map update then thats a different kind of update and that needs files on a usb, but you'll also need FSC codes. Either pay the dealer for it or find someway to get fsc codes (i have no idea how)
