I have had three repairs to my Dunlop runflats (twice in the same tire!). No problems whatsoever. All were a result of nails from construction.

I have had a nail in my rear left tire for over a month now. My advisor told me to get a new tire from anywhere except the dealership because it will be much more expensive. A month later, still driving it with the nail in the back tire. The warning light has popped up about 3 different times on my Idrive screen, but i just reset it.

I plan on buying new tires and rims, so therefore not interested in replacing my runflat.

This nail in the tire thing seems contaigious.

Just patch it. You haven't driven the tire on its side wall, so you should be O.K.
