Hey guys,
My e60 ( 08' 550i ) has thrown a fault 2B70 " DME: Variable intake system, activation"
Service plan includes " Stecker / check wiring harness, otherwise replace DME"
Everything is plugged in correctly , wiring is good and before I start switching out DME I want to test to make sure .
Searching through Google , ISTA and INPA , I am stumped . I cannot find out how to test / activate the intake manifolds servo motors / DISA , for the n62b48. I've found how to do n62b44, but that's no help...
Stumbled upon a video of somebody testing their manifold but they do not describe how they initiated the test. Below is the video.
https://youtu.be/bfDP6Y1L53M
Since the fault 2B70 has occurred I have cleared it, it's intermediate and comes and goes.
No other faults .
Just switched out my alternator the other day and the fault has yet to come back ( fingers crossed )
Any insight would it be appreciated!
