Default N54 belt tensioner

Hi guys I dont have much experience on posting threads , so sorry if I'm not doing something right and please tell if there's a better way of asking a question like this.
I've searched on line and spoke to people around but couldn't find a good answer.
I have a 2008 bmw 535xi. Recently I've replaced serpentine beltand tensioner. When started the car I looked very closely on how the belt runs and noticed a little wobble on the new tensioner I installed. The wobble is little and I can't catch it with camera, nevertheless it's there. I had the seller send me a different tensioner same brand tho ( INA) same problem. I understand there should be 0 wobble on any belt accessories. Am I wrong? Is a little wobble acceptable?

No noise, actually the old one was making noise. Now the belt runs very quiet, but everytime I look at it I just see that wobble and drives me crazy lol. Thank you very much for the reply, makes me feel a bit better but will continue to watch it and do more research:-)

Hmmm. I don't think I would describe anything to do with the tensioner as having some wobble. I will be under the hood this afternoon and will take a look at mine. It is pretty new with hardly any miles on it.

Agreed. I replaced mine less than a month ago and there is no visual wobble to me.
