BMW are working on revised E60 for 2007 and pictures have already been leaked & shown on this site. Fact is BMW are already working on its successor, albeit at an early stage.
The car normally gets minor revisions in March and major revisions in September in Europe, maybe the cycle is different for the US market but I dout it.

Usually... they usually are already designing the next 5 series when the one reaches showroom floors...
