So how is the tire monitoring system different now? Is the actual tire pressure displayed?

Here's the dealer bulletin confirming that all US E60 models, except M5, will change to MY07 with March production to comply with CARB emissions requirements. New options also included.
Aux input is standard, but I can't believe they placed it between the 2 power sockets at the rear of the center console.

Good question. Somehow I think if they do figuire out how to do the retrofit it will cost $2K. I hadn't even heard of HD radio unil now. Very interesting. Sounds like bad news for XM and Sirius.

The comfort seats are an excellent addition to the Sport Package. I really could have used the savings (if there will be any) instead of ordering as 2 separate options.
I really don't care about the HD radio...Satallite of any kind offers so much more.
Aux input for free is nice too.

It didn't mention anything about replacing DVD nav with Hard drive.
MB S class start using HD instead of DVD, it's much faster and can store much more data.

How can anybody find this to be good news? We all take an instant 6 month depreciation hit. Pity you guys with an 06 on the way.
What the hell is going on here? Manipulation of the lease residual value tables (dunno anything about them, but it sure ranks higher than those goofballs at CAR
.
This is the kind of stuff of which class action lawsuits are made.

GG! My 530Xi is due to arrive in 2 weeks, and to hear of this is somewhat disappointing. Maybe I can get my dealer to install an AUX input for free.
