My Ride: 2005 530i SMG, Sport package, Premium package, L7, Xenon Headlamps, Window Shades, Rear red reflectors
When it comes right down to it, who really cares what the passenger likes, feels or wants. If they don't like it they can walk (or ride a Camry)!! A BMW is a driver's car.

Well it's the tyres or the wife!
I'd give it a 7 or 8 - it won't turn you car in a rolls-royce but it makes a big difference. It's the horrible thumping and skipping that I don't miss!

Hi,
to be honest, I had favored a MB E500, my wife had convinced me to make a choice for the 545i.
I am still convinced that the difference is not worth to discuss - which does not mean that I am unhappy ...!
Now I face the funny situation that she doesn?t want to drive my car herself because the comfort seats are too big sized and the overall view on streets is lost (looking backwards left, backwards and backwards right) especially when navigating into small parking slots (we are Germany sited - not in the US
)
She favors her 523i with standard seats ...
Size of my wife is nearly 5 4/5 feet height !!!

bimmer32, change the tires, the ride will improve a lot! I even went with 19s and the ride feels smoother.. my wife has not copmplaint about the ride, love to drive the car whenever she can get to ot ( not too often ofcours) and she even likes to sleep while we are going somewhere else....
