Great news! I know our cars left port about the same time but mine is west coast delivery, so another 3-4 weeks. Enjoy your car and take lots of pictures.

Follow the 'taking delivery' guide and let us know if your dealer gave you any extra goodies (shirt, cap, jacket...). That way I will know what to ask for.

Leonard.

my dealer installed the euro reflectors as prep. when i pickup they were already installed. excellent service. i also got 545 chrome grills too.
your dealer is nice to pick you up, nice touch.

if your prettiest steady lady friend is not available, the prettiest female staff of your dealership can take you out to lunch perhaps?

The dealer is picking me up because I am not trading a vehicle and he is 50 miles from my house, a BMW dealer who shall remain nameless is 5 miles from my house. I test drove with a SA their, asked for some numbers back, called him to remind him and still never got anything back, so my business went elsewhere.

It probably will all work out anyway, I'm sure I wouldn't have gotten as quick an allocation from my local dealer. I'm more liable to drive by that dealership than MB. And no I can't sleep.

Take your air pressure gauge and check front and rear against the gauge. Dealers are notorious for delivering with the same pressure in all four tires. When you find the wrong pressure, ask the salesman what else should you expect to find later?

You're right... I found 33psi all around after taking delivery. (* I checked once I got home*) This is on staggered 545 style 124 wheels!!!! 33 is too low! Idiotic Dealer!

So did I. My case was 36psi for all tires. Now instruction laleb at the door side says 36 for front and 44 for rear. We have to be careful.
