Hey All...

My headlight lenses/covers are a mess. No amount of sanding and buffing is working. So.. I need to get new lights, but can't afford the $1100 per light!
I have bi-xenon - adaptive. But I have noticed that the non-adaptive bi xenons are much cheaper on e-bay etc.
Will those work (plug/play) on my car??? I can live w/o the adaptive feature.

Anyone? Let me know!

THANKS!

What method did you use to attempt to restore them? I will be attempting to clean up my headlight covers this week.

This is the most ridiculous design that forces you to replace the light system just to improve the appearance. There is nothing like new parts.

Well - I found out that non-adaptive will work with no errors so I may go that route.

Just to answer some posts - yes, i've had then professionally sanded, waxed treated etc but there are still areas that the plastic
is dull/cloudy. It's almost as if it's happening inside the plastic not on the surface.

oh well - looks like new lights (and big $$) is the only way to go!

Thanks everyone!
