AUX port in the passenger compartment? I'll check on that! That would be awesome. I noticed there is a memory card slot of some sort in the middle compartment. Not sure what card it would fit though. Regardless, if there is an AUX port, then I'm good to go.

I'm not sure if it's got comfort access or anything else. In fact, I'm not exactly sure what options are available on the 2006 550i model, other than I know my steering wheel heats up and I have a rear lip on the car. Blacked out when I bought the car, overwhelmed by how beautiful it is
Congrats!!! The cool thing is you can retrofit the CIC navigation and other goodies to include connecting your iPhone! That's what I and other members here have done. PM member Patrys or email him at info@bimmer-tech.net.

Thanks everyone! Love love love the car so far. Especially coming from a 2000 VW Passat.

pjinca - so there is an AUX port in the car? Where is it?? I already have an AUX cable I can use, but you mentioned programming. That sounds like a pain. Should a BMW dealership handle that?

Default Welcome

One of the first things I'd (unless you already have) is have a BMW dealer run the service history so you know what repairs and maintenance were done. The next thing (you can do this first) ... enter the last 7 digits of your vin here http://www.rubmw.ru/vincode/eng/ so you'll know what installed options you have.

Enjoy your new-to-you car and welcome to the forum!

Thumbs up

Interested in replacing the reflectors in the rear bumper with "Original" Monaco Blue parts? When I bought my e60 I put reflectors on and kept the original painted parts.

I'll be glad to make you an offer you can't refuse
