Glad to hear you escaped that one 'relitively' unharmed, after a big one like that... Good luck on your recovery

Sorry to hear that and glad you're ok.

I do have to say though, you said "it was absolutely pissing it down" and "I was travelling at 80mph". Why were you travelling so fast?

"a few artic trucks making some serious spray and i couldn't see a thing!" Ever think to slow down?

It never ceases to amaze me that people think they can drive at normal dry weather speeds in bad weather. This applies to a lot of people.
Don't get me wrong, I like to drive fast but only in the right conditions.

As I say, glad you're not hurt though which is the main thing.

Humanity is fucked, seriously.

I am so ashamed on behalf of all the people who would see a crash like that and not stop to help you.
Completely agree with you man.

Everyone, thanks for all the kind words.

Mark, i reckon they will probably notice, and tbh, you wouldn't want those 172's mate!! They're not looking too good now... As for the "Destroyer", LMAO!! I hope i've had all the bad luck i can get!!

smarty156, like i aforementioned, had i been going slower, then the crash would have probably been less severe, or, maybe even avoided, however, not much i can do about it now!! The rain had actually subsided by the time i reached where i was. It was only drizzle, just the spray from the trucks. Indeed the roads were very wet, so 80mph obviously wasn't the best speed to be doing. It has certainly given me a wake up call to how dangerous roads can be in the wet. I will certainly be going slower on the motorways in the future in the wet. Thanks for the kind words too man.

einstein57, sadly i can't strip any of the parts off the car as it's a company car!! Otherwise, believe me i would be stripping the car to sell for parts.
