Glad you are okay first and foremost, but I have to say, It makes me feel good to see the aftermath of an accident like that where the front end of the car is destroyed but the passenger compartment virtually unscathed.

Thanks guys. Yeah to be honest it's a good way of proving how well the E60 holds up in what is a pretty damn big crash! As for why the airbags didn't deploy, i'm not too sure. It is however being looked into, and i have spoken to my lawyer for some advice. Will keep you all posted on this one.

It is a surprise that airbags didn't deploy. Sorry to hear about the crash, but I'm glad you are semi-ok.
Next time don't drive 80 in the rain :-) I'm sure this accident could have been avoided or less severe if you were going slower. :-)
