Since your car is 2004, then yes, it is D2S.

Do you have a Skype, or quick way to have a conversation? You post nearly on all of my threads and I'm a new BMW owner so I have a lot of questions about the products I see you have floating around.

forget the 6-8000k crap bulbs. go 4300k oem level for max output.

Also, you should know, that projector lenses skew the color of an HID bulb. So its pretty tough to judge a bulb color by "how blue it looks"
