yea so crazy guys, my good friend has an abarth and his is super bright also but mine is deff a big stronger we will see im still undecided if i will put some black tape over one of the led lines

Almost all of the LED lights seem too bright for me, which is why I haven't done any LED conversion on my car - map lights, trunk lights, etc; all seem like they're way too bright for my taste. If there wre LED's that could approximate or slightly exceed the lumen output of the original incandescent bulbs, I'd buy 'em. I want to see better, not get blinded or attract unwanted attention.

I've been thinking about getting LED license plate lights, but I would hate the fact that a light malfunction error would appear, are these really error free as advertised on eBay?

I have the mtech ones going on 2 yrs now never had any malfunctions with them not sure About the eBay ones

yea i think they are all the same just re branded except for MTEC I can deff see my place clear for over 100 feet lol Still on fence about using electric tape to cover one or two rows of leds to make it not as bright

Electric tape probably will affect the throw of the light if you block a part of the lens. How about some window film tint to cover the whole lens? That'll evenly reduce the brightness
