providenceleaf and za3875, welcome, and kiwistu, ("A-kee-ora!" - or however that's spelled), welcome back! Providence leaf I wouldn't say it's ugly...maybe just comely...like for a woman, it's handsome...don't know if that's any better!

I'm not sure it had anything to do with this particular car, but why take a chance????
I just got my first BMW last month. Its a '05 530 as well. Best car I have ever owned. I enjoy it more every day I drive it. I think I would be seriously disappointed driving anything else unless I spent much much more. I am trying to talk my wife into getting one. Even her mother is after riding in mine. Hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine.
