My Ride: Alpine White 2010 535 M-Sport
What type of front plate mount did you use? Havent see one mounted down on the wind screen part of the bumper before but it looks clean. Better than drilling holes in the bumper.

When I decided to put front plates in lower grill, I learned that that space is a bit tight. Basically I had to cut lower and upper plate part: 1/8 on each side. Than regular black frame/mount (got it from AutoZone) had to be cut as well. For plates I used metal shears, for frame grinder. After all cutting was done, pre finished it with sand paper. Final touch miracle-worker PlastiDip. My dad came up with idea of using Sheetrock anchors. Just had to buy longer bolts, black bolt caps usually included with frame. My only concern is when I will remove that front plate, I would need to get those anchors, I've seen one guy using magnet on long folding stick, I guess it might work.

My Ride: 2008 535i LCI with sports/premium package, Sports trans with paddle shifters, CF emblems, JB4 Software, Dinan Exhaust, Navigation, M5Tech body kit, Carbon wrap interrior trim and CIC Controller.
I have to say this is by far the best thread I've read in a while. Great job on documenting all of the changes. Impressive!
