Default My first year with E60.

Instead of starting a new thread, decided to edit my original...

Original posting was:

My first 100 days with E60.

So far I'm happy!
This is my second BMW. My first one was E39, all stock, except stereo. I always wanted to customize my car a little bit on outside. But E39 had to go. Three months ago I bought this 5 series. Here is what I did so far:....

I bought 2010 almost a year ago. It is regular E60, which by itself is great car. But like most of 5series residents I got bored with base look

Some may say "why bother spending $$$$ on 528i", I like BMW's for their look, performance is nice, but with current speeding laws plus my commercial driver license (which means every trafic ticket goes on record) I must stay out of racing, drifting and other fun things

I use my iPhone as main camera 99% of the time, thus quality may be a bit less than expected...

Before:

November 2012

Complete stock, base E60...

Started with basics, like tinted windows, smoked signal lights, black roundels...

Next mod comes from Trinity!

RPi exhaust...

Many people are still skeptical about my next step, but I wanted to get rid off chrome/aluminum look/parts all-together.

Not really a mod.... Always wanted to have personalized license plate, more than 30 days wait is over!

Those fender gaps were killing me.

Dropped by 1.5 inch, not much but at least no crazy fender gaps!!!

Took me a while to decide on rims and tires

Like I said before, I use my phone (iPhone 5) for 99% of photo takings...
Rain may ruin your handwash-waxing-perfection, but it creates really cool mood:

June 2013 - Nothing to report, just chilling and enjoying sunshine:

As I was thinking to get the rest of M Style body kit, deleted M Style spoiler. Not sure if I will get anything, but for now "no spoiler"....

July 2013

I know, it's a little almost unnoticeable piece, but I believe tiny details make huge difference.

Valve stem with matching black BMW emblem:

Here's what Trinity shipped to me:

August/September 2013

While I waited on skirts and rear bumper to be Alpine Whited, mod work didn't stop. One of the downsides of halogen headlights, not a lot of customizations... Ye, I know Orions look awesome, but cost and wait time didn't appeal to me.

Decided to get HIDs in 6k and CREE LED AE. Here's video of how CREE look like:

HIDs are in!

I know, this is not a real "mod"... But we all share something unique (sometimes same) things about our cars.

Got front Euro plate that matches my rear one. This thing is made in Germany, and quality is superb!

October is the best month for taking photos! Sun is not too harsh, leaves create fantastic colors and our cars just begging to be photographed.

Yesterday, I didn't lose my opportunity. Here are several shots I got:

Done but not shown:

1. VW/Audi grocery hook
2. Strut bar
3. I wanted to get big break kit, with black calipers. Unfortunately it gonna have to wait... Painted calipers with caliper paint $15 worth of paint plus trip to AutoZone

Current "to do list"

1. Get few photographs with real camera....
2. Spacers, spacers, spacers....
3. Look for someone in Portland, OR (may be Seattle, WA) who could vinyl wrap my roof...

More to come....
