They seem to like black too. I've also noticed an increase, but my previous E39 was black !!! Must be E60 related...
Worst was at the sea-side last month. Stood at traffic lights, when "BANG" on the roof. Then all of a sudden, the output of a seagull ran down ALL the windows. What a sight when I got out and looked :'(
