I don't know about you people but whenever I park ANYWHERE birds nail my beautiful 550. I can park it in the driveway of my home, my office, the mall, a friends, anywhere and the birds seem to find it. I feel like there is a huge target on my hood that says "CRAP ON ME!!" In the two months I have owned my car I have been pelted with more bird poo then in 6 years on my 328 and my M3 combined. I know what a lot of you are going to say so save your words. I never park under trees or electrical wires. The problem has now gotten out of hand. I have begun carrying a bottle of McGuires Final Inspection and a microfiber cloth so that I can eliminate the bombings soon after they occur but the birds are sloooooowly winning. I am not sure whether it is the same flock of birds who is following me like some strange Hitchcockian nightmare or whether they are different birds. Maybe the birds are all friends and communicate regularly telling eachother where to locate my car. Whatever it is, IT HAS TO STOP!! They never hit the windshield or the glass sunroof. It's always the hood, the trunk or <gasp> the mirrors!! It's awful.....AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! :'(

Stop parking underneath the trees and shades. BTW, silver grey is not a magnet for bird crap.

What can I say. You live in Jersey. What would you expect?

I think silver must be some sort of target for cars. I have owned two silver cars and they always got nailed. My other colored cars seems to miss the little f**ers s&&t.

I don't subscribe to the Silver-Grey color theory. My car is Silver-Grey! I got bombed once in the 3 months I've owned it. Believe you can't possibly have as many birds in NJ as we have here in Florida.

I HAVE A CAR COVER and when it's on, the birds ignore it. They sit there, waiting for me to uncover it before they launch their awful attack.

Ultimately there is only one way to stop them. You have to take the fight to them instead of playing defense all the time. You have to track down their nests and crap on them.
