Are my Conti's RFTs???

Hey all,
I just took delivery this week of my new 550i M-sport (lovin' it), and I've got the style 172M 19" rims with Continental ContiSportContact 2 (275/30 rears, 245/35 fronts).
My dealer/salesperson insists that they're runflats, although I can find no indication of that on the tire sidewall - also, there's a doughnut spare in the trunk, which I understood didn't come if you had runflats.
I checked the Conti website, and they make no mention one way or another about runflats.
Can anyone clear this issue for me?

There will be a marking on the tyre wall 'RSC' if they are runflats.

like already said runflats...have (RSC) written on them.
i dont think any BMW comes with 19 inch wheels have runflats... but not sure...and u have a spare tyre... so i think you dont have runflats...
i thought Continental didnt have any runflats but a fast search prooved me worng....turns out they do have..dont know since when but they do...they call them SSR for Self Supporting Runflat, perhaps you have that writen on your sidewall...

if you dont have the (SSR) or (RSC) on the side wall...you dont have a runflat....
if your really really curious and its driving you mad...
get your self near an air compressor, and then let some air out of the tire...if you see the tire goes any where near half as high where it use to be then you DONT have runflats...

There has to be a circle on the side of your tire in which you find the letters: RSC
RSC = Run Flat System Component
With Dunlop RFT's there's also the letters: DSST behind the name of the tire.

Not sure how a propos this is of anything, but the M6 I saw in the dealership this weekend had Contis. I thought all M6s had RFTs - ?

On track cars it's better to have softer tires, it's easier to maintain control when drifting for example...
