Other than the Monday morning "wiggle test" , no. I have sent a letter to the Custmer Service Manager, with copies to the Sales Manager and Dealer owner. The dealer has always been very customer focussed so I'm hopeful we will resolve this bizarre issue smoothly ..............I'm not a happy camper .

The dealer is trying to get me a new car..................the guy at BMW Canada who can approve it is away for a couple of weeks....... so now I guess I just wait................. AHHHHHHH !!!

A new car? Wow, what went wrong? We were all awaiting word from the wiggle test...

Seriously, do you mean they have diagnosed some problem and are swapping out the old one because of this issue. I would be curious to hear what the problem was that prompted them to act so quickly in taking back your car.

Sounds like they are bending over backwards to keep you happy. Certainly keep us informed as to exactly what the problem was. I'll be curious to hear what drove them to replace the car so quickly. We have seen others with entire engines replaced without getting a new car...

Hope you get your new car soon unless your car gets fixed sooner. Isn't it umbarrassing on a $94k car to have a problem like this on the road ? I hope no body saw you.
Just wondering why you didn't consider the BMW road assistance. Driving the car in such condition to the dealer may have casued further damage to your car. Good luck.

I haven't spent a lot of time carping here about the issues I have had with this car but suffice it to say this isn't the first time it's been back to the shop. When it was running fine it was brilliant, but I don't even have 6000km (3500 miles) on it !!
