Really good stuff. WC550. Don't forget all Canuck orders come into the right coast - no left coast orders for Canada. Then you have to endure the rail car game.

Spring will be here sooner than you think - once all this snow goes....

I found out on Friday that my new car is ready for the ship !! Now I just need to get rid of the wheels and figure out the best way to put 166's on without any $$ upcharge ,The dealer won't do it, they've offered me $2000 for the mounted 172's if I supply the 166's with tires . Given all the crap I've been through I would have thought they would accommodate this change since the 172's are actually a little cheaper than 166's !! I'm sure someone here will need some 172's , I got 5-6 weeks to figure it out.The weather should be getting more like Spring when it's delivered so I'm getting pumped !

Check this out. A friend who just bought a 335xi coupe passed this info on to me.

you can call BMW at 1-800-831-1117 for "vehicle production status"... it's automated... call anytime...

E90Post, ordering and tracking info: http://www.e90post.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=30 ... follow the posts for more info... you can see your ship in each port along the way by satellite photo and follow it in open water via GPS...

sign in at the owners' circle and make an account: http://www.bmwusa.com/Standard/Content/Own...andingpage.aspx ... this info is ok but a little slow... tells you what stage the car is in... gets better when you have a VIN number or production number...

> ultimate tracking guide: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=53173 ... follow links here when the car is shipped...

That information should be added to a sticky thread or FAQ somewhere.

Sweet, the wait becomes harder the closer it gets!
Mine is about a week behind yours, the BMW phone lady said
it is currently in the paint shop to be completed on the 12th.
It looks like there will be many happy campers in the next month or two,
from all the replies.

Congrats! I bet you can't wait. I wish I had the pleasure of ordering a custom built BMW.

You know I am VERY interested in those 172s.. I don't want to low ball you at all, but $2000 is kind of what I was looking to pay w/ tires too... I guess everyone is always looking for a deal.. You, the dealer, me.. Just the way it goes I guess... I hope we can work something out. We've got a few weeks. Cheers!

Gene , believe it or not the service you speak of is only for American customers , no such service for Canada. The only access we have is via the Dealer....Thanks for your help though

You should be able to enter the VIN at the WW site and get the boat's schedule telling you when it should arrive in Halifax. Once on the water, 10 to 12 days to Halifax, a week or so at port, and ten days for CN to get it to the left coast. I would think you should have the new drive in a month. Congrats and good luck on the wait.
