As far as letting the guy off because he does not speak english or "look" like he can support his family??! Are you joking! Ok, ok I get the fact that you are counting your lucky stars (and you are), but damn. I am not so sure I could be that forgiving. This driver you so clearly descibed, does sound like he is just trying to make a living, but then again so are you and you have worked hard to get where you are as well. If this gentleman does not learn to display some sort of civic responsibility, what lesson will that imply???? Fein ignorance and poverty and you can get away with anything?! Yes it may take you some time and effort, and maybe even some of that hard earned money, but what if what you do saves a life. What if your action forces the trucking company (or the individual) to fix their shoddy work ethic. Seeing something that is wrong and not doing anything about it....in my humble opinion is tantamount to doing it yourself........
