Just got a call from the detective in charge of my case and she has said the car was towed away

I asked if i could see the cctv footage and she said she will have to check and see if the people who took the car can be identified before she can let me see just incase i go hunting them down.

she said they took the vehicle at 10:30am and i came out of my house at 10:50am - 11:00am.

She will give me a call coming tuesday and confirm if she can let me see the footage, she did say that the footage wasnt clear and that the number plate of the tow vehicle cant be read due to the footage being not clear.

Man, I wonder how come the tilt sensor didn't sound the alarm!?!?!?

I'm sure you are steaming mad! Just keep cool, hopefully you'll get those bastards!

I am sorry to hear this...

the problem is.... non of the security thing on the car would work if it is stolen by real professional. If they are real professional, they probably would have master bmw key that would unlock the car using decoding machine and allow it to start the car which will deactivate motion sensor.

wish you get your car back very soon

Two 5ers were stolen from my buddies neighborhood last night! Local sheriff deputy said an eye witness spotted a flatbed truck loading a car at 2 am, the cops just didnt respond in time. My baby is staying in the garage from now on!

sorry to hear about the losses.

I get the feeling that as the E60 and cars with equivalent electronics age / depreciate, this will happen more often, as the parts are worth a lot on the second hand / used market and still cheaper then the stealers.

A shame that scum bags will go to such lengths, but if they really want your car they will eventually get your car...
