My idrive keeps boot looping. I was wondering how i can fix it. I read up that i have to buy new ccc unit but it cost around 700. Any feedback i can't even do anything right now. It keeps restarting constantly while i drive. This 530i has been costing me a lot of money to fix but i love the car

boot looping is a common failure mode, as well as the DVD drive not being able to read anything. Usually it's down to overheating in the CCC... it's almost worth getting a CIC / NBT if spending that kind of money to fix the CCC. Unless you can find a cheap one online and code that in (no guarantees on that too!).

CIC came on the E60 in 2009. Climate control doesn't have to change, if you have a pre lci then the facia that surrounds the climate control has to change, part number 51456976361
