My 2006 530xi WONT START :( whats wrong? help

Well if your airbag was deployed then it most definitely be a program isue sounds like its gone to safe mode

How did u go did you change the starter have u got the car up and running

If the car has been in accident and airbag was deployed, I believe the car disconnects the battery terminal to prevent fire/explosion as a safety feature. Thus, the car may not be able to start unless you replace the battery terminal/cable. I do not have the specfic info as to what must be replaced but you can try searching battery terminal disconnect after accident.

This. But if that was the case, it wouldnt crank at all, since the connection to the battery would be dead right? Try having your intake cam censor checked. Mine went out and my car wouldnt start. Just a thought.

well on my moontiter in the car it says START OFF ASSISTANCE INACTIVE? what does it mean? i need to reprogram the key or what? and i changed the crankshaft positioning sensor and same thing.

bmw 530xisilver, I have the same car and had this problem a couple weeks back, with teh same message being displayed on my screen. you need to jumpstart the car from the battery in teh trunk. try that and see if it helps.

I'm really surprised at the advice given. I'm not surprised at the quality of advice or the knowledge of BMW given the join dates and posts but you would think that people wouldn't be just shooting in the dark.

OP - I think it's your tire pressure actually.

whats BST? and its not battery problem i know that i replaced it already, and tire presure? i dont think so.
