My 2006 530xi WONT START :( whats wrong? help
hey guys i have 2006 bmw 530xi it wont start, i checked the battery and all fuses everything is good, checked fuel pump and its good, but i checked spark plug and i dont have a spark and it wont start please help.maybe someone had some problem, is it a sensor or what? help
it has 105k miles
it was in a accident
when i got it it did not start and i cant figure out why, i checked for spark plug by puttting it on the end and seeing if there are sparks, and it turns like freely, doesn't sound like it wants to start, just cranks and wont start, fuel pump is good

My Ride: '06 530i, '07 C280 4matic, '98 ML320
See if there are any diagnostic codes set.
Crankshaft position sensor may be toast and as a result, DME is not sending the signal for firing spark plugs. Just a guess.
Without codes, that's what I can think of...

If it cranks then I don't know sorry didn't c that it cranks my car did nothing not even a crank but I heard that if the starter is not working right it will not give u the power u need to start the car I would be changing the starter first

If the starter turns but the engine does not fire, it can be that the coding in the ignition module has lost its pairing with they key. Had this happen to me out of the blue at a gas station. Basically your only option is to have it towed to the dealer for reprogramming.
