Thumbs up

Looks great,
I am waiting for my Alpine White 525xi to be shipped (momentarily as was just produced), I like the way your 20% tint looks. Who did the tint and approximately what was the cost? I see by the license plates that you are in NY as I am.
Thanx,

Thankx guys!

I will post pics of my seats as you requested soon; probably Monday as this weekend is a bit hectic.

Tints were done by a local shop on Staten Island. They use a computerized cutter which basically has the exact dimensions for every possible car, so no manual cutting. Tint job is top-notch! Wheel Concepts, Staten Island, NY is the place if your close. Ask for Rob (owner), tell him Nestor sent you! They have 3 guys working on it. One for the left side of the car, right side and rear which in our cars requires special attention due to the tightness, slope and heating/antenna wire.

NES,

I have to say - the wheels look fantastic on your car! I actually contemplated on purchasing them too, however i bought a roadside tire warranty through my dealership, and only 17" & 18" tires are covered, so no 19" wheels for me - i drive through lots of construction sites ... get screw(ed) all the time!

I know exactly what you mean. I have had a few problems with even my 18" wheels on my older car. Although new, I have not had any problems as of yet (only 3 days though, lol), but hope not to have any in the near future...but thats very unlikely, I live in NYC. ANyways, our cars look good with either wheel setup I beleive, so no worries. Wheels can make a car look better, but it cant "break" them. Good Luck buddy and thanks for the compliments!

OK guys, I need your help!

As you notice I put on my 19" x 8" style 128 wheels in the front and 19" x 9.5" style 128 wheels int he rear. I just realized today that when driving at fairly higher speeds and at an uneven road that a scraping sound comes from the rear. I figure this is from the width of the tires but they seem ok from looking at it. It doesnt happen too often, but enough during random bumps to worry me. Do you think its the overall wheels size or just the width? Should I keep all the wheels even all around (8" widths)? This is probably due to my car being an xi model, but if anyone has any answers or if anyone with the same wheels, please comment. Thanks so much!

If it is due to rubbing you may need your fenders rolled out a littel bit. I remember some guys doing that before with 20's installed.

Great looking car BTW!!!!!!!
