My Ride: 2006 530xi ED 7/1/2005. Silver Grey, Black Leather, Premium Package, Cold Weather, Sport, Logic 7, 18'' style 123 rims.
Sport suspension is supposed to lower e60 by 8/10" vs standard non-sport suspension. I think the difference between the xi and non-sport is minimal if any, and non-significant!
NES...great looking ride!!

Oh definetly without a doubt the xi is a bit higher, however when next to eachother somehow they are the same height, with same size wheels (17's when I seen them next to eachother).
I took your pic which was 800px X 600px and took my high res image and sized up the same. Your photo was taken further back than where I was positioned when shooting, so I sized up the wheels to the same size. All sizes are equal now. I also gave it a bit more contrast and brightened it so lighting wont affect any judgment you may have. I have not modified anything else other than what i told you. This is for the rear wheel so the weight it pretty much closer than the front because you have a 545. Keep in mind that although I have the sport package, no sport suspension is available for the xi. So this comparo isnt exactly fair to begin with, but for arguments sake, I presented as close as possible as to how it looks when I am physically next to a 530i.
Also keep in mind that our angle arnt the same either. I didnt change the perspective of the photos because that would hinder the photos abilities to show size accurately. I wasnt exactly centered and neither was the camera when taking the shot. Yours looks pretty centered and a heck of a lot better!

Im probably going to get the kit from Life Quality BMWs Body Shop. I know the manager for years now and repaired my 540i whenever anything happened. Couldnt be happier!--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Its all Greek to me! I have to admit, Im falling in love with the "great white land shark" more and more. Is it normal to ALWAYS want to stare at her? I cant keep myself from looking or wanting to be behind the wheel.

I love the E60 in white. If it weren't for a the really bad resale value in the UK I'd want one.

I understand exactly what you mean. Sometimes I really want a blue color, but its harder to sell after. Here in the states, and through my own personal experience, Black, White, and Silver sell the easiest/fastest and for the most $$$.
