Default My 2006 525i won't start, any advise?

About 4 weeks ago when it start getting cold, I went to start my car and it was acting like the battery was going bad. Would have to turn it 2 or 3 times and it would barely start. I thought this was wierd since the battery was only 2 years old. Then just the other day I went out and turned the key and it just would do one click and not turn over at all, could hear the fuel pump and just a tick. I tried jumping it and the same thing. So I replaced the battery thinking it just was toast (even though it still seemed to power everything in the car just fine) and I got the same result. The dealer said it should start and its not a "battery register" issue. The starter shouldn't be bad either, but I guess it could be. I googled the question and seen a lot of other people having the same problem, but didn't see any real solutions or answers, so I figured I would come here and ask some of the experts! So anyone know what is going on?

Very likely the starter is bad.
One way to test if the starter is good/bad, jump the power directly to the starter terminal and see if the starter engages. I am pretty sure it is the starter.

You have N52 engine, you will need to unbolt the intake manifold and push it to the side to be able to access the starter bolts (2).
