Something about emissions on the sixes and some sort of deadline they are trying to beat. Probably just a hard sell, as they had several 550s on the lot. My 530i finished production on 01/24/06 and I took delievery 02/23/06 -- hours after it came to Dealer, US East Coast
My dealer confirmed MY07 will start prod. in March but if you are using BMWFS, residuals and rates will go up in March in addition to the slight increase in MSRP

I had the same experience at another dealership on the west side in LA. Exact same story about it only being 525s and 530s that were getting made early. Anyone have a confirmed order in the system for a 2007 with a production date. Not that I want to believe this guy as he's got 6 or 7 550is sitting...
