mods can include stereo's. Add your own system, it will be a lot better than the logic 7. replace speakers, upgrade the subs, and replace the factory amp. Pretty easy stuff and you can get a lot better sound for a few hundred dollars.

My Ride: I have an 05 545i. It's a manual with a few options. This is my first BMW but I don't know how I'll ever be able to switch to something else.

Must Have:
1. Active Steering
2. Comfort seats w/ that sexy chocolate brown leather![Drool](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/drool.gif)
3. Sport Package
4. Optional M-Tech kit
5. 6-speed manual
6. Logic7, i had to throw that in there
Why Bother:
1. Navigation
2. HUD
3. Rear seat heater ( they don't need no stinking heaters)
4. IR Tech
5. Active Cruiser Control

My Ride: 2007 BMW 550, Sport, Navi, PS, CWP, Sirius

Sport package is an absolutely must so it is not even an option. Non-sport E-60s do not exist for me. Those are different cars like MBs or Lexuses
Must haves, assuming that multi-cont seats and sport steering are included in SP
1. Navigation
2. CWP (like heated steering)
3. L7 (or some other prem sound)
Desirable:
1. Sirius
2. HD radio
3. HUD
4. AS (maybe)
5. CA
6. Cooled seats

This is based on the options that I've got or experienced.
Must haves that go without saying:
1. Pro SatNav
2. Bluetooth
3. Leather
4. Heated seats
5. Bi-xenons
Must haves
1. Dynamic Drive - Awesome handling.
2. Head up display - One of those things that you don't realise how good it really is until you've used it day to day.
3. Comfort Seats - Haven't got these but they're on my must have list.
4. USB interface
5. Active Cruise with stop and go.
Why bother:
1. DAB - Hardly ever use when I have a 32GB USB stick in the USB interface. Plus has poor reception in my area.
2. Electric seats - Why bother when comfort seats are an option.
3. Night vision - Don't waste your money on this.
Not must haves but are pretty cool:
1. Auto folding mirrors.
2. Heated steering wheel - This is awesome, especially in freezing UK!

Must have options... because it costs so much money to add later!
1) Navigation
2) Heated seats front and rear, heated steering wheel
3) SA-6FL ( aux/ usb in center console for iPod or usb )
4) Aluminum interior trim ( aluminum does not warp and crack like wood )
5) Alcantera suede headliner
6) Satellite radio
7) Mtech body kit
8) shadowline trim
9) Bluetooth
10) PDC
11) homelink rear view mirror
Why bother with...
1) rear/side sunshades
2) runflat tires
3) extendable center armrest ( driver's side extends 3 inches forward )
4) CD changer
5) voice command
6) Front headlight washers
7) rear smoker's package
