replaced alternator, and dropped the car off this morning, called back an hour later and the car came back with 17 codes -_-
good news battery was completely dead and i had a bad ibs, so that’ll be replaced tomorrow and we’ll see what codes come back after that.

 

Dang man that sucks hope the new battery helps out..

 

Car wouldn’t respond at all, all codes came back and the car wouldn’t even respond to a hard reset. shop believes it’s a TCM/PCM issue, so it’d have to go to the dealer. Rough estimate of 2500-4000 which isn’t worth it. Looks like I’m parting out or trying to find someone who’d buy it as is.

 

Have u tried replacing the cam sensor it will make it not run or start if not working correct. The pickups inside go bad and make a dead spot.

I replaced my IBS myself after having battery issues for years.

When the battery runs extremely low, you're gonna get a ton of weird codes that can lead you on a wild goose chase. Been there.
