No, I tnhink the 545's have vacuum actuated dampers, I think the older model V-8's. I know mine didnt have the dampers when I went to duals. Not sure about your 08. 535 would be different as well.

When I put my Remus axle back in I just plugged the vacuum line and tucked it in the frame. You really don't need it since our cars are pretty quiet since there 2 set of cats and a resonator before the rear muffler. The Remus axle back was also designed for a 545i and fits fine.

Which magnaflow you have? i was thinking of swapping out my rear mufflers for a magnaflow muffler, do you have a sound clip?

I will record a sound clip and post it. It sounds awesome, but my wife is giving me crap about it. Just want to go back to stealth mode and I purchased this car with the mod already complete.
