There are plenty of people here who have paind to have painted and installed themselves and others that have paid for paint and install. Why don't some of you chime in on this one?
Paid $1,500 for a complete paint and install - which for the OEM kit required removing and replacing some of the front bumper internals as well as repositioning bumper mounted electronics.

I probably could have shopped around for a better price, but the shop owner did a great job of making me feel confident and comfortable about letting him do the job. This particular shop works exclusively on classic restorations and my car was arguably the cheapest one in his garage at the time. Needless to say the finish and follow up to fix some minor discrepancies I noticed after I got the car back was perfect. For me it was money well spent.

It is not $200-300 a kit, no way, sorry, it's a misprint. $200-300 a piece, not a kit.
full kit is between $500-900 depending on the shop.

Thank you guys for your replies, so Im roughly looking at 2 grand for the kit, paint and maybe installation, my car does not have PDC, and its an 08, how hard is the install if I want to do it myself, I am pretty handy and have done body work on cars, prep paint etc, but not professionally.

I would have the kit painted by a shop and maybe install myself.

Self-install is a piece of cake, but most shops only charge $50 for each piece to be installed, and usually $100 for all 3, it's worth it to have them to do it.

You're actually looking at closer to $1300-1800 depending on the body shop WITH the parts.

You are doing all Mtech, it's $900 shipped Greyhound, $990 door to door.
If you do M5tech front + MTech rear (with sides) it's $850 GPX or $940 door to door.
If you do fogs it's $120 for the fogs in addition.

All is in stock.

Best time to also get Xenons for the fogs, we have a Canbus no error kit for those.

We do this to help customers identify bumpers - it's flattering that other vendors take our naming as "gold" and use it.
I can't stop laughing at how full of BS your post is.
