its been known that the aftermarket bumpers may require some small adjustments. if you want no issues, get the oem mtech front bumper. however, the oem will cost more.

600+ now M5techs on the market, a few of them have issues, usually isolated to body shop work or a rare deformation due to shipping from the factory to us or from us to the customer (this particularly rare).

My Ride: Bmw E60 530i 2004 Jet Black sport package on Linea Corse 19" Lc818 Saphire Black
I'm in the same situation, but I'm looking for the front, sides and rear M5 look, cuz I'm planning to install a quad exhaust setup on my car, wich is a 530i 2004.
Their is duraflex body kits, but if I believe the info that I've found, they have a lot of issues with the fitment and their quality is not that good, is that right ?
If I refer to what people saying here on the forum, the M5tech body kit is the way to go with a quad setup and the M-tech for a dual setup..I hope I did not mistakes

Overall the Umnitza kit is not bad. If you are wanting to save some money and can live with few gaps and alignement issues which are not visible to most people, then consider one of the aftermarket kits. If you are picky, expect it to be perfect and don't mind spending the extra money go with OEM. Adjustments are required no matter which kit you get; however, with the umnitza kit actual material at the wing mount is required to be removed otherwise you will have a direct crash with the mount bracket. This seriously weakens the connection and the wing structure. I guess some feel this is normal adjusting, but IMO it's not... I had to actually fabricate a new mount bracket support to fix this. Contacted umnitza and shared the info hoping to get a good price on a replacement but was only offered free shipping. Again, adjusting is required but they should be more up front when material has to be removed to get it all to come together. Overall, I am satisfied with the product, just not excited with it...

Tony, thanks again for your first hand review. I too have personally now installed this kit (front and sides only so far) and have not had an issue like gaps or fitment issues.
It's a very good kit, while we don't make it in house, we do feel confident that anyone purchasing it will have a positive overall experience.

i got the m5tech. (m5 replica with fogs) fit like a fucking glove.bodyshop had to wrestle with it a little but nothing crazy. the biggest misfortune was the side skirts being an inch to short.! i got it from trinity but umnitza and other vendors sell the same thing. rear bumper also fit perfect

If you have a 2004-7 car, the fogs are a direct replacement.
Your dealer is just a) misinformed or b) trying to get you to buy their parts and then hit you up for a new set of fogs as well.
