My Ride: 2006 530i Alpine White , Premium Package, Build Date 07/05.

I have an US 2006 530i - build date 07/05, no NAV, came with MP3 functionality. When my CD player wouldn't eject my CDs, brought to the dealer to service. They replaced with a player that had no MP3 capability (part #65-12-6-942-520). Notified them that I lost MP3 capability with this replacement cd player, they went back and forth on this. Dealer mentioned that Cd-player doesn't play MP3s -- but why did my car have it in the first place??
Finally, they replaced my player with part #65-12-6-942-521 -- note the 521. All covered under New Vehicle Warranty.
Note: on the non-MP3 player, the I drive has "OCD" as the right-direction-menu vs. "Car Data" as the right-direction-menu on the MP3 capable one.
