Hi All,

Re: dual layer DVD ... are you guys using +R or -R disks?

Does it make a difference?

Cheers

PLEASE HELP!
I have asked and asked 3 different forums.. You guys are my last try. My 07 550 will not freaking work smoothly with dvd mps's. I took fer to bmw and they said all components are upgraded to the best and should work.
I have tried 2 different brands of DVD in 2 different burners. I have most recently tried 44.1 Hz mp3 (not mp3 pro) and a constant bit rate of 192. I used Nero to burn smart burn the disk.. And as usually the DVD will play the first 9 files. I put 50 or so mp3 on DVD sometimes after several minutes it will play a few seconds of a song after track 9... But not much. All files are straight on disk not in different sub folders.
PLEASE AND THANK YOU!

It could be the DVD drive in your car.... Try the disk you made in another car.

What I meant to suggest was that you take the disc to your BMW dealer and ask them to try it in another car similar to yours. If it fails in multiple cars, then it's more likely something wrong with the media. If it works in another BMW then the DVD drive in your car becomes suspect.
