Oh yes! I'm sticking out my head and asking the most popular Q.

When searching the forum I'm coming up with both positive and negative answers to my question;

Will I, after a sw update, be able to play MP3 on my Business Radio (no nav) or not?
If not, then I have to buy an AUX kit and connect a MP3 player. If I have the AUX function will I see the song titles on the iDrive or just on the player?

Don't bash me for asking questions about MP3 capability / AUX and making this thread #10000000:th in order....

Aha, that sounds great.
My dealer doesn't want to install v16.x because there are so many bugs in it. He says that we have to wait for v17.x which is arriving June/July.

Wait and see then.

If you have the Business radio, even with the update to CIP 16.2, you will NOT be apble to play MP3's in your CD player. MP3's can only be played on the PRO raio/CD player.

AUX In will work with the Business players. You will not see song titles or be able to control the MP3 player via idrive.

The above is speaking from first hand experince.

can you tell me the difference between Pro-radio and Business-radio? How can I tell apart?
Thanks
